Are We Ever Ready?
You might not be in a place in life right now where talking about having tiny humans is a priority. Maybe it’s just taking on a new role at work and leaving your old life behind? Are you ready? Truth is we are never ready for anything for real. When I did my first bikini competition, was I truly deeply ready? No. I was not. But I did it anyway and learn with every mistake I made and fall with every step I took. Did I die? No. Was there some embarrassing moments? Sure. But I learnt, I survived and I thrived. I went on and did 5 other shows the following year! 😊
Sometimes being ready really means “being ready to take on whatever comes our way on this journey to and through parenthood with whatever life throws at you”.

The effects of Trading & How Fitness can Help
All of these things seem to be extra work and I don’t really care about how I look. True. But I’m sure you do care about how you feel. What if I told you one day after doing just some of these things that I’ve said you will wake up stronger, happier, more agile, more efficient than you already are right now? Wouldn’t you want to give any of my advice a try?
The problem with our society these days isn’t their age, the problem is what these individuals should be doing at their age but don’t because they are too caught up behind the desk.
The volatility in markets, especially the extreme volatility of Crypto markets creates significant emotional and physical stress as well as creating situations where an individual will spend extended periods sitting in that high stress environment.
The high stress environment makes traders prone to bad habits like smoking, drinking and substance abuse, which exacerbate the damaging effects on health.
And if we can try a little everyday to create healthier habits step by step, little by little. Non-drastic, nothing unnecessary, you will see the difference in yourself even if its just for 3 weeks.
The sedentary nature of the life can lead to obesity and diabetes which may not be directly related to trading but these are all facts that traders tend to do such as sitting for long hours, not eating regularly, not sleeping regularly and substance abuse which all increase your chances of coronary heart diseases.

EASY AIR FRYER FALAFEL
I love chickpeas! I used to order falafel every time I go to a Mediterranean restaurant until I realise that there were deep fried. ☹ But very high in iron and protein because it’s base ingredients are Chickpeas! I even … Continue reading EASY AIR FRYER FALAFEL

I Ate Too Much!
This shift was absolutely huge for me: life is incredibly short, and it was time to stop constantly engaging in negative self-talk when all I did was being human, so what? I went out and I ate a little more food than usual. I am only human, and I very well enjoyed my time with my friends and all the yummy food I ate.
Life is unpredictable. And we deserve to live and thrive and feel worthy in the body we are given. Our bodies are more than just the way it looks. What about the value that gives us to life to move and to breathe.

Proteins
If you have met me and asked me about my bodybuilding journey or anything related to diet in general, I am pretty sure the first thing that comes out from my mouth is the word, ‘Protein’. And I would not … Continue reading Proteins

Calories
Embarking on a fat-loss journey can feel daunting and overwhelming with all the information that is given to you but think of it as a lifestyle change and you are just trying to modify what you have been eating, work out a little more, get a certified trainer to coach you in your weight lifting journey, make sure you are getting enough sleep and try to minimize daily stresses with meditation or crystals or whatever tools you resonate with.
And while there are many ways to lose weight – (fill in the blanks of all the fad diets you have tried or have yet to try) come to mind. There is no one diet in the world that will give you any guarantee in weight loss or fat loss. But there is no harm in trying. If you are in a caloric deficit, all diets will work.
Fat-loss is science: burning more calories than you take in. This calories-in, calories-out calculation may seem simplistic, but it does get a little more complicated when you realize that not everyone’s bodies burn calories the same. Continue reading Calories

Dear Bee, I am just too tired to work out.
Dear Bee, I am just too tired to work out.
I’ve been pretty active my whole life, and during normal times I workout 6 days a week. However, the pandemic situation has really taken a toll on me, I can’t see my friends or family because of travel restrictions, and it feels like my life have been put on hold right in the middle of it. I try working out on my own like I do in the past, but my body is just so unmotivated and tired. Every time I try looking for tips for how to deal with emotional exhaustion so I can feel more alive, one of the top things is to exercise. As you can see, this is really circular! Do you have any other ideas? Continue reading Dear Bee, I am just too tired to work out.

My Fitness Journey (15 years and counting)
Oh my. Where do I begin? Bodybuilding did not happen by chance. However, my journey to bodybuilding is probably more intentional than I thought. I tried a million and one type of trainings regime such as CrossFit, yoga, sprints, long distance running, powerlifting, HIIT the list goes on and they were all great fun and during that period of my life it was the best type of training for me. However, I did not see real changes until I found bodybuilding, meal prepping and understanding macros and micros and the biggest taboo, counting calories.
